I work with a mix of printmaking techniques — collagraph, chine collé, screenprint, monoprint, cyanotype and transfer printing — often layering them using collage, made from hand-printed and found papers. Each surface is built up slowly. Drawing, painting, and mark-making thread through the process, guiding the balance and rhythm of the composition. This hybrid approach allows me to play with contrast and composition. Even using a single medium such as acrylic I build up the image using multiple layers.

Working across multiple processes allows the images to evolve and develop through layering and revision. The resulting prints reflect how my surrounding landscapes are recorded and reworked from feelings, memories and experiences.
